Roofing Ryan (“we,” “us”) is a referral service that connects homeowners and business owners with licensed, insured local roofers. We do not perform roofing work. This policy explains what we collect when you use roofingryan.net or one of our forms on Facebook or Instagram, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you request an inspection we ask for your name, phone number, ZIP code, whether the property is a home or a business, and the roof damage you've noticed. If you fill out our form inside Facebook or Instagram, Meta may pre-fill some of these fields from your profile; you can edit them before submitting.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we receive your IP address, device and browser type, the page you visited, the site or ad that referred you, and the time of your visit. We use the Meta Pixel and similar tools (see “Cookies and advertising” below).
How we use it
- To match your request with one roofing partner who works in your area and to pass your request to them so they can contact you.
- To follow up with you about your request, including confirming that a roofer reached you.
- To measure which of our ads bring in requests and to improve our website and service.
- To prevent fraud and comply with law.
Who we share it with
Your assigned roofing partner. We share your name, phone number, ZIP code, property type, and damage description with the one roofing company we match you with so they can call or text you about an inspection. Roofing partners are independent businesses and handle your information under their own policies.
Service providers. We use vendors to run this site and manage requests, including website hosting, spreadsheet and automation tools, and advertising platforms such as Meta. They may process your information only to provide those services to us.
Legal. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, our users, or the public.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your request with more than one roofing partner without asking you first.
Consent to be contacted
By submitting a request you agree that Roofing Ryan and the roofing partner we match you with may contact you by phone call or text message at the number you provided, including by automated means, about your roofing request. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or email us and we'll pass the request along.
Cookies and advertising
We use the Meta Pixel to understand how visitors reach our site from Facebook and Instagram ads and to measure when a request is submitted. This lets Meta show our ads to people likely to be interested and helps us see which ads work. You can control how Meta uses your data for ads in your Facebook ad preferences, and you can block or clear cookies in your browser settings.
How long we keep it
We keep your request as long as needed to complete the match and follow up, to keep records of the roofers we've referred, and as required by law. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).
Your choices
Email roofingryanil@gmail.com to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or ask us not to contact you. We will respond within 30 days. Residents of states with privacy laws (including California) may exercise their rights the same way; we do not discriminate against anyone for doing so.
Children
Our service is for adults arranging work on property they own or manage. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be noted on this page.
